Homalyah Narine
Homalyah is currently a senior (Class of 2018) heading off to Hunter College where she plans to pursue a career as a veterinarian. When not focusing on school work, she spends her time reading, editing and taking photos, binge-watching Netflix shows with her mother and sister, and spending quality time with her relatives. Homalyah was born in Guyana and roots for the Guyana Amazon Warriors. For as long as she can remember, she's always had an interest in writing. It is of her belief that an idea, especially one of a literary sort, deserves to be shared because words have the power to change someone’s opinion, to evoke emotions, and to even help someone in need.
